I had a wonderful stay at this resort, which offered clean and well-maintained rooms with great amenities. The location was perfect, just a short drive to Point Lookout and various shops. However, I did encounter a few issues, like the hard mattress and lack of heating in the cooler nights. Overall, it provided great value for a family getaway.
Rooms

The room was a two-storey villa with stunning ocean views from the upper floor and a nice balcony equipped with a barbecue. It was well-stocked with everything we needed, including games and cooking utensils, making it perfect for our family.
Service

The managers were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great insights on local attractions. However, the unit's layout could be challenging for older guests due to the bathtub situation.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. While there were some positives like the Wi-Fi and a smart TV, the overall condition of the unit was disappointing. The bathroom is newly renovated but it was marred by some mold spots. Unit 6 really needs some serious maintenance, which took away from my comfort and enjoyment.

The apartment was old but mostly clean. The bathroom was recently renovated, which gave it a fresh look despite some mold spots above the shower.

We had an amazing stay with stunning views and a fantastic staff that made our first visit to the island truly special. The villa was spacious and clean, but did feel a little dated in decor. While the location was perfect for accessing beaches and local eateries, one of the units we were warned about left a lot to be desired. Overall, it was great value for the price, especially with a lovely pool and a pleasant atmosphere.
Rooms
7.0
The villa was spacious and clean, allowing plenty of room for our family of four. The views from the upstairs balcony were lovely, but the decor felt stuck in the early '90s.
Service

The staff were extremely helpful and informative, making our stay much easier and enjoyable. Judy was particularly welcoming and offered us a late checkout, which was a nice touch.

I had a wonderful stay at Pandanus Palms, enjoying the beautiful views and convenient amenities. The location near stunning beaches and walking trails was perfect for a relaxing getaway. While the unit was generally well decorated and stocked, some areas could use more attention to cleanliness, and the kitchen appliances could be updated. Overall, it was a great experience, but there were a few minor drawbacks, especially regarding cleanliness.
Rooms
8.0
Our unit was lovely and well-decorated. However, the kitchen bench tops seemed slightly dated, and although it was generally clean, there could have been more cleaning products available.
Service

The service was attentive, and the staff provided helpful local tips during our stay. However, communication via email could be improved, as it wasn't very prompt.

My stay at Pandanus was a mix of highs and lows. On one hand, the location offered breathtaking views and a nice quiet environment. On the other hand, the unit I stayed in, Unit 6, was not acceptable due to cleanliness and safety issues. The facilities could use some serious upgrades, making it feel less like a resort and more like a neglected property. Be cautious about which unit you choose!
Rooms
5.0
Unfortunately, Unit 6 was old and run down, with major safety concerns such as rotting timber on the deck and water damage risks in the kitchen.
Service
5.0
While the management seemed to care, the lack of response to our concerns and the ongoing repairs during our stay really impacted our experience.
Location
8.0
The location was beautiful with amazing views of the ocean, but it felt a bit overhyped given the overall condition of the unit.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were quite limited within the unit, and I was left searching for alternatives off-site.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the pool might be nice, but they were overshadowed by the overall neglect of the units. I feel like more investment is needed to live up to the resort standard.
